Perched on the farthest end of the Rhuys peninsula, the Petit Mont megaliths stand above the ocean and the Gulf of Morbihan.

This imposing monument is over 6000 years old and can be read like a history book. Visiting the Petit Mont Cairn, is a way of getting in touch with our earliest history as the site was used by Neolithic men and then during the Gallo Roman period. Finally it was a strategic base during the Second World War when a bunker was built there in 1943.
